Stray Kids Won at Asia’s Largest Short Film Festival Award with Self-Produced Content

On June 7, JYP Entertainment announced that its artist Stray Kids has won the “Global Spotlight Award” at the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2024 with their self-produced content “SKZFLIX”.
The Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia, which opened on June 4 in Shibuya, Japan, is an international short film festival officially recognized by the Academy Awards. This year’s event, the largest of its kind in Asia, received over 4,936 submissions from 114 regions.

“SKZFLIX” is a music drama that uses the song “Leave” from Stray Kids’ 2023 mini album “ROCK-STAR” as its background music. Here, the Stray Kids members portrayed film club members experiencing trials and errors while making a movie.
Regarding their new achievement, Stray Kids expressed their gratitude, saying, “It was very meaningful to receive an award after having so much fun filming ‘SKZFLIX’ and creating great memories with the members. We hope to share the story of ‘SKZFLIX’ with more people.”
